In 2026, prepare to share even more space with Aussie rock icons Cog, with the band today announcing eight additional shows for the new year. Joining the band's two added Western Australian performances kicking off later this month, this April will also find Cog heading to Gosford, Sydney's Northern Beaches, Canberra, Wollongong, Penrith, Hobart, Chelsea Heights and Barwon Heads.

Celebrating the release of Walk The Line, Cog's first new single since 2019, this upcoming 2026 headline run will offer fans a chance to revel in new and old favourites, and will also notably mark the band's first Tasmanian performance in a decade since their sold out 2016 reunion tour.

Closing out 2025 with shows in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Newcastle, Brisbane, Caloundra, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour, it's no secret that Cog's voracious live energy continues to go from strength to strength, and 2026 is primed for even more unforgettable moments from the revered trio consisting of Flynn Gower, Luke Gower and Lucius Borich

Last September, Cog released their first new music since 2019 in the form of Walk The Line; an immediate Cog classic with raw yet blissful dynamic shifts, showcasing the trio in their most assured form to date and powerfully brandishing real-world themes of life as a musician in 2025

Emerging in the late 90s, Cog's enduring legacy on the heavy music landscape has traversed decades, global touring, and a jubilant reunion back in 2016. Via their early EPs, 2000's Pseudo, and part one and part two of 2002's Just Visiting, the behemoth reputation of the Sydney-hailing trio would firmly cement in 2005 in the form of their debut full-length The New Normal. From here, Cog took the world by storm, relentlessly touring Australia, embarking on overseas runs, and igniting stages at Big Day Out, Falls Festival and Homebake, alongside adding a stellar second album release to their repertoire in the form of the certified Gold 2008 opus Sharing Space.

Never ones to rest on their laurels, Cog emerged from a five year hiatus in 2016, with an entirely sold out comeback tour across Australia that same year - and some new music soon followed in 2018 via the band's first new material in a decade: The Middle. From here, Cog have continued to expand their creative spirit, releasing additional singles, Altered States, Drawn Together, and, as of today Walk The Line, while also remaining active on the touring circuit, including headlining The Other Festival and Thrashville in recent years.

"The feedback and response we’ve had so far to Walk The Line and the upcoming shows has been fantastic," shares vocalist Flynn Gower. "It makes us feel so good to know that people are enjoying what we’ve put so much time and love into."
